S.M.A.R.T. MINISTRIES (SOULS MINISTRIES ADDICTION RECOVERY TEAM) Each year on November 3rd, I celebrate my deliverance & freedom from drugs and alcohol. This year will mark 15 years clean. The SMART Ministries began as a result of my coming from a 12 step program that challenged me to face and acknowledge the pain of my past. The conflict was in my understanding and reading GODS word which states I must put my past behind me and dont look back. I was torn, how do I do what GOD is asking of me, but yet unable to forget what had happened. How do I put my hand to the plow and not look back, when I was confronted with my past in anything and everything I ever did.
What GOD says in His word is true and what he showed me was the only way I was able to put the past where it belongs, in the past, was to acknowledge the past, not to run, deny or hide from it. I couldn't get past it, or beyond it, because I was living in my past today. I was stuck in my past and unable to live in my present, in order to reap my benefits of my future.
Under the annointing of the Holy Spirit I am able to be transparent and let others know that the key to "moving on" is to know who you are, be able to forgive, and then release everything to GOD. In this ministry participants are asked to trust GOD, remain opened-minded and believe that GOD thru His Son, JESUS, will find healing, a new way to live and will be set free to become the men and women GOD has intended them to be.
OUR MEETINGS ARE HELD ON THURSDAYS (EXCEPT THE 1ST THURSDAY OF THE MONTH) AT 7PM IN THE CHURCH OFFICE 630 ORANGE DRIVE SUITE "O" VACAVILLE, CALIFORNIA 707.446.5593
